Results From Pocono - Axalta 400

   Hey there boys and girls.  Yes, I am still alive and kicking, and yes, I have your results.  Listen, they say all good things come to those who wait.  If you are either John or myself in the big pool.... not good things at all.  For me, with only four races left, this could be a good thing, if I can maintain a close proximity to first.  For John, you got some work to do.  Speaking of, I will send a text out to all of you who do not check this site, but I am looking at July 16th for the halfway picking.
   In the half pool, Jericho is making a power move to the top, as Blaster sinks to 8th.  Rich continues to pull away, and it looks like it will be a hot race for the remaining three money spots.

Results From Charlotte - Coca Cola 600

   In a word, dominance. Martin Truex Jr. absolutely dominated the 600 and at one point toyed with the field as they closed in on him.  No issues this time, as he came so close this year, but finally pulled it off.  Close one in the big pool.  Going to be interesting to see what happens after the halfway picks.  Rich S continues to pull away in the half pool.

Results From Dover - AAA 400 Drive For Autism

   Hello boys and girls.  What an exciting finish to that Dover race.  Kenseth holds off both Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott to score his first win of the year.  Gary with yet another big score and guess what? He is now in 5th.... What?!? And how about that, the big one in Dover : )
   Rich keeps hold on 1st place and pulls away some.  Woody slips a little to 7th, but still in it. Colleen, George, Blaster and Janice round out the top 5.

Results From Kansas - GoBowling.com 400

   Well, another great race, action all around the track the whole race.  I am a fan of this new low down-force package this year.  Can someone tell Gary that it isn't the halfway point in the big pool yet.  And don't look now, but Woody is climbing up the ladder in the half pool and that Talladega move just might get him some money after all.

Results From Talladega - Geico 500

   Wow!  What a race! A wreck fest indeed.  Chris Buescher barrel rolls, Matt Kenseth gets airborne and Danica hard into the wall.  Junior and Amelia maybe parting ways (we can only hope).  Gary will get $10 this season (just barely).  James' back-up driver scores as many points as his whole team did... wow!   New leader (for now).... ME!  If you don't love plate racing, there is something wrong with you.  3 to 4 wide racing for much of the race at those speeds has me on the edge of the couch.  Just announced, next year Talladega will be in the Chase.  How well is that going to work out for some of these guys?
    Now, the half pool.  Putting the numbers in, I kept laughing.  We all sucked, except for Woody, who must have had a magic eight ball or something.  He was the only one remotely good, and that could be a game changer for him.  He jumped up 6 spots and is now in 6th.  So I calculated for us losers, the average finish for all 17 picks this race was a whopping 30.  Ouch!
   Saturday night race this weekend, Kansas 7:30 on FS1.
