Results From Fontana - Auto Club 400

Sorry for the delay boys and girls.  Was sick then better, then walloped a second time even worse then the first.  But, finally, I am able to sit in front of the computer for these standings.   New leader in the big pool, James. Not bad for picking last.  Gary finally had a decent week.  Should we start to worry now???  In the half pool, Mark has made a triumphant return to the pool, with his second #1 pick of the early season.  A tight race for the top three guys.
Hope everybody did well yesterday in Martinsville!

Results From Phoenix - CampingWorld.com 500

Kevin Harvick continues to dominate as he wins race number four of the 2015 season, showing no signs of slumping after winning the 2014 championship.  Kurt Busch returned and looked as if he never missed a race, even challenged for the top spot at one point.  Junior had a decent car, maybe a top 5 car, until his rear tire blew and he hit the wall and ended his day.  James had a great week and closed in on me big time, while Gary's team has yet to find their stride.  Question is, will he keep in touch with points until he gets to the second half?
In the half pool, both Speed Inc. and Debbie D picked Harvick to win and moved up, while John L. picked Junior and plummeted to last place.
Good luck to all in Fontana!

Results From Las Vegas - Kobalt 400

Here we are, three weeks into the 2015 season and it looks like a continuation of where we left off in 2014.  Harvick still looks strong, Junior finishing in the top 5 every week, Jimmie is inconsistent and Joey Logano always seems to be fast.  My hopes were that those teams would carry over from last year, that was why I picked who I picked in both the big pool and the half pool.  So far, so good.  Gary will have to find his second half magic I guess, as so far, he can't find his way from the low score category.  James looks to be a worthy opponent, and now that Kurt Busch has been re-instated, we will see if Mark has anything.
Half pool news... John L was this weeks biggest winner, moving up 3 spots to 6th.  Debbie D was the biggest loser, down 6 to 10th...yikes!
Good luck to all in Phoenix this weekend!

Results From Atlanta - Folds of Honor 500

Well, the second race of the season is in the books and Joey Logano and Jimmie Johnson are locked into the Chase.  Junior and Harvick look strong again, but Mr. 3 time (Gary) looks to be struggling early on.  Brian sits atop the standings (again) and I am a close second.  Mark and James round out the top 4.
In the half pool, Mark was our first "0 pointer", picking Jimmie for the win.  That bold pick moved him from the cellar, up 7 spots, to 5th.  Myself, John M. and Brian are the top 3 currently.
Good luck to all in Vegas baby!
