Results From Bristol - Irwin Tools Night Race

Colleen is on the boards!   The high week goes to her followed by James.  James makes up a little ground as he closes in on me in second.  Brian also had a good week as things tighten up from first to fifth.  Gary just cannot seem to make a big cut into the leaders.
In the half pool, so many of us picked Kyle Busch, and though he didn't win, a solid 8th place finish for us.  Except for Colleen, who had Menard, everyone had a top 20 finish.  Slight movement as Rich S moves back into first by four points over me, and five points over John.
Labor Day Weekend will be the next race at Darlington.  A treat for those that don't have cable, it will be televised on NBC on Sunday night.
Good luck to all!

Results From Michigan - Pure Michigan 400

Better late then never... Seems I start out that way a lot in this blog.  Anyway, changes at the top in the big pool.  The man that I predicted to win it all when we were done picking at the half, just took the lead.  John is there and will not be looking back.  The trio of Keselowski, Kenseth and Edwards are clicking at the right moment for him and Gary who has the next strongest team is so far back that I do not believe he will be a contender.  Next up is Bristol and this track has been known to mix things up a bit.
In the half pool, John (soon to be renamed $$) is in first, with Rich S and myself, hot on his trails.  Many people have Kyle Busch to win here, so we will see how it all pans out.
Good luck to all in Bristol on Saturday night.

Results From Watkins Glen - Cheez-It 355 @ The Glen

I do like this particular road course.  Maybe because its such a fast track.  I just hate how the crew chiefs have to all come up with some kind of strategy like pitting on lap 2 instead of just pitting when you need to or when a caution comes out.  Especially when you are part of a Nascar pool and you watch your team ebb and flow like a yo-yo.  Unless of course if you have Jeff Gordon on your team, and you see him have issues early, then you realize you are going to have a terrible week.  That's just what I did... and of course John has a great week (although Gary did score a little better, I am not worried about him).  Now only 4 points behind me, I am realizing I won't be in first after Michigan this weekend, and now I can only hope to finish third to get some kind of money.
In the half pool, Rich and John keep up the good work, and we will see who comes out on top this weekend.  Rich has Biffle and John has Edwards.
   Good luck everyone!

Results From Pocono - Windows 10 400

Well, John is starting his ascension to first place, and I don't like it at all, especially since I am currently in first place.  We shall see how this all plays out in the weeks to come.  Thanks to late race drama, the results were a little skewed as to who was the better cars at Pocono.  Most of the front runners didn't have enough fuel to make it to the end, but it was Matt Kenseth who was the fortunate one and took the checkered flag.
In the half pool, Rich S continues to run away with the pool and John M hangs in there in second.... and fourth.  Good luck to all at Watkins Glen.

Results From Indy - Crown Royal 400

Sorry for the delay boys and girls, but I have had a lot on my plate lately.  But i did find time to get this done and I know today's race is currently running, but here are the results from last weeks race anyway.  Gary is making his way back into the fold with a season high score of 125.  A few more of those and maybe he'll catch Colleen.  John looks ready to make a move on third place James.  Lets hope Mark and I don't self destruct too bad today.
In the half pool Rich S, makes up big ground with his Kyle Busch pick.  Seems that anyone who picks the 18 car will be moving up lately.  John L the other big mover up, while Debbie lost big ground with her Jeff Gordon pick.
   Good luck in Pocono everybody,
