The second race of the second half is in the books. Kyle Busch dominates the whole weekend. Sweeping poles and races at Indy. John and I tie for high score this week, and it looks like (so far) that once he starts to move up some, he will be my biggest competitor.
In the half pool, Keith opens up the half with back to back winning picks. The 88 at pocono is still a good pick, regardless of who is driving it.
Enjoy the race!

Results From Loudon - New Hampshire 301
Well, we are off to the races (LOL!), the second half has started and right away penalties are flying. John gets a great team, high score out of the box, and bam!, hit with a 15 point penalty. Still moves up a spot and does look to have a great team. A spot moved up for me too as I move into second behind James.
Keith off to a great start with a Matt Kenseth pick in the half pool. Could lightning strike twice with another win at Indy for Kyle? We shall see.
Good luck at Indy everybody!

Results From Kentucky - Quaker State 400
The halfway point is upon us. No changes in the big pool as Colleen scores big again. The unlikely fuel mileage game did wreak havoc in the half pool though. I will get to that in a moment. However, John will get first dibs as James gets to pick last with an uncomfortable 65 point lead. Will it hold? Time will tell.
What could possibly be the worst meltdown in half pool history, Rich S (sorry bud) saw his lead evaporate during the last few races, and then fell five (that's 5) spots in the last race to fall completely out of the money. Speed Inc., who slowly creeped the positive way, moved up five (yup, that's 5) spots to claim victory by four points over Janice D. Congrats guys! Well, it is on to the second half. So good luck to all who enter the half pool this time around. Let's have another exciting round!

Results From Daytona - Coke Zero 400
Well it comes down to this. One more race in the first half. Kentucky on our horizon with Daytona behind us. Thank goodness Daytona is behind us. The "Big One" took out most of our picks. It's bad when you see one of drivers taking out another of ours to cause the "Big One" (am I right John?). As we look to our driver picking (now the 15th at night), two things I believe are a certainty, one John will be picking first and two, James will be picking last. Other than that, it will be a crap-shoot.
In the half pool, Rich with a bad week gives him a 1 point lead over Colleen. Janice and George are ready to pounce on first. The only certainty here is that 1st through 7th will have a shot at the first place money. After that, it is up in the air also.
Here is a page for the second half pool. If interested, print it off of here and fill it out and email it to me, or just email me your picks in order from 1 to 18. My email address is paulybarb3@gmail.com.

Results From Sonoma - Toyota/Save Mart 350
Wow! What a finish. Even if Hamlin let Stewart win, it was pretty darn exciting. I have to admit, I was really anticipating watching Tony climb out of his car to celebrate. I know Burger King doesn't sponsor his car anymore, but I don't think that stops the man from eating 3 meals a day from there. James continues to pad his lead, while I must say I like where I am at in the standings for once.
Going to be a tight race to the finish in the half pool with Rich S continuing to hold onto first place/
