Results From Bristol - Irwin Tools Night Race

Well, an interesting race.  Kind of like when they run Daytona single file.  New progressive Bristol, supposedly you can run multiple lanes, except it seemed they could only run high, and nobody could pass low.  The most exciting point of the race was when Harvick wrecked Hamlin because he wanted the lead.  In the process, Dale Jr's night was over when Hamlin came back up the track and tore Jr.'s car all up.
John, James and Gary all felt the Bristol bop, and Brian once again took high score and widened his lead.  Looks like it will be a battle for 2nd place.
In the half pool, Rich picked the race winner yet again, but only gains 6 points on John. Poor Janice, picked Jr and we all know how that wound up.
Good luck to all in Atlanta,
Paul

Results From Michigan - Pure Michigan 400

On the morn of the Bristol race, he finally sends out the results from last week.  The nerve!  He says, are you at least getting the results??? I know, I know, but really, I have had much on my plate and these standings were not even on my mind.   But now, you guys have my full attention.  OK, Michigan. Getting to like this track more and more, the faster they go.  Even Watkins Glen the week before last, fast and narrow... cool.  What would be better is if they moved the guard rails closer to the track at the Glen...
Anyway, Brians lead was cut into a little bit, and don't look now, but Gary is sniffing around there in 4th, only 145 points out.  I am still waiting to strike, once Tony gets back in that car.  I am going to stay once again with the 14 car and not put in Truex.  Can't bite me any worse than it already has.
In the half pool, Rich S moves up 2 spots to second with John M. still holding onto 1st.  John L down two to 7th tied with Janice for last.
Good luck to all tonight at the bull ring called Bristol,
Paul

Results From Watkins Glen - Cheez-It 355 @ the Glen

Well, here are the standings finally from Watkins Glen, soon to be followed by the results from Michigan.  The Dinger gets his first win in the Sprint Cup Series.  Other road course favorite, Marcos Ambrose finished second.  The rookie Kyle Larson with a fantastic fourth place finish.
Brian continues to dominate the pool, with high score this week.  For me, with Tony Stewart sitting out the race (and future ones too), Regan Smith didn't do so good in the 14 car.

Results From Pocono - GoBowling.com 400

Junior wins another to make a bold statement that he is here in 2014 to win this championship.  Looked strong all day and a great pit strategy paid off big time and he held off a charging Harvick for his third win of the year.  All I could think about was the race last year where Junior had the lead late and Harvick passed him with a couple of laps remaining to go on to win.  Hoping the same thing didn't happen at Pocono, but Junior had that clean air.   Gary had a big week and moves into 4th while Brian continues to hold firmly onto first place.  How will the points change after Sundays road course? Tune in to find out...
Paul

Results From Indianapolis - Crown Royal 400

Sorry guys, a LOT going on here. Too much to go into detail about.  But, I was able to get caught up on results for everyone.  First Indianapolis.  Jeff Gordon went on to win his 5th at this track and the 90th of his career.  The bigger news was that Denny Hamlin (James) was penalized 75 points by Nascar after post race inspection.  Upcoming later today I will post the results from Pocono.
