Results From Bristol - Food City 500

What a long day it was last Sunday.  Rain delays, red flags and many caution laps.  Early on, trouble for the Penske boys as Keselowski spins and Logano runs into him.  Both would finish near the bottom.  Harvick could not avoid a spin and would plow into the 18 car. He finished in 38th.  Other big names to have problems were Junior and Kahne.  James had a terrible week, fortunately, Mark and I fared only a little better.  John scored the highest and moved up one spot ahead of Brian.  Points closed in a little after this race.
In the half pool, Janice and John (2) had the best picks this week, and that was huge as everyone else's drivers were awful.  Lots of movement in the standings this time around.  Very close race at the top.
Remember, saturday night in richmond.
Good luck to all!

Results From Texas - Duck Commander 500

Hey now, what day is it??? Saturday already? Just kidding. These results are brought to you today by Mark.  Great race on Saturday night.  Fast, multiple grooves, and an exciting finish for second.  Jimmie Johnson would windup the eventual winner, while early race leader Harvick finished second, by a half turn in front of Junior.  The closing laps were exciting as both Harvick and Junior swapped 2nd several times as Johnson drove off.  Brian would have had a better score if Menard hadn't had engine woes early in the race.  James continues his surge as Truex propels him further ahead of Mark and I.
In the half pool, Debbie D. has the #1 pick, and inches closer to the lead as I had an off week, allowing everyone to gain a little.  See Pete told you, it ain't over till it's over.  Everyone is now within 100 points.  Lots of racing to go boys and girls.
Good luck to everyone in Bristol on Sunday afternoon, you all will need it there.

Results From Martinsville - STP 500

Breaking News!!! Deflate-Gate 2015 hits Colleen Paul in the old points standings.  Ryan Newman was docked 75 points as Nascar found Newman's team to be drilling small holes in the tires so that as air pressure built up as a green flag run went on, air would escape, and therefore, create more grip which in turn created a faster car.  How long has this gone on I wonder?  Newman... second place last year in the points standings. I mean wow, there should be an asterisk next to his name now.  How long has he been juicing?? Oh wait, that's another sport.  Well, with the penalty (which his team is appealing) Colleen drops a spot behind John, but yet still ahead of Gary.  James continues his hot streak, and Mark with a big week moves ahead of moi into second.
In the half pool, I had picked Hamlin, but there were definitely more losers than winners this week. That's short track racing for ya!
Happy Easter to all, and enjoy next week's race!
