2015 2nd Half Pool Sheet

  For those of you who actually check this site, here is the sheet for the second half 1/2 Pool sheet.  If you know anyone who wants to get in, there is no maximum amount of people I can take.  Get anyone you know who is into Nascar get in this pool.  Only $25.

Results From Michigan - Quicken Loans 400

   Stupid rain, cost me a soda and a bag of chips.  I was having a great race before the rain came.  Harvick first, Junior 2nd and Larson was 8th.  Then the threat came and Harvick pitted and then blew a tire.  Larson stayed out on fumes, hoping that the race would be called any second, but he had to pit when the rain came 3 laps too late.  Mark got a mountain dew and a bag of doritos cause I thought for sure I was gonna spank him this weekend and put him 100 points behind me.  I was looking good especially when Logano and Hamlin looked to be off pace, but pitting strategy helped them move into the top 10.  James had an excellent week too, making my bad week look worse.
   In the half pool, things are getting tight up top, as we head to the final three races.  Some new faces are moving to the top and newcomer Speed Inc can't seem to get anything going.  Here's a hint Pete, for the second half, have Gates pick for you (can't be worse).
   Also, 2nd half sheets in next post and look for big pool picking to be on July 18th.

Results From Pocono - Axalta 400

   Better late then never they say.  Here we go, the results from Pocono.  Truex finally broke through and got himself locked into the Chase with a huge win after leading the most laps in the previous three races and coming up short.  Harvick and Johnson both had strong cars, but had nothing for that 78 car.  No change in the big pool as I cannot shake the likes of Mark and James.
   In the half pool, close points mean that weekly things will change, and change they did.  The top three stayed the same, but Debbie, Janice and John 2 all moved up, while Brian moved way down, losing 6 spots falling to 10th.   Getting close to the end of the first half, sheets coming out soon for the second half.

Results From Dover - FedEx 400

   A typical Dover race with long green flag runs and many cars laps down.  Dale Junior had a fast car, but due to a change before the race, had to start in the rear.  Went a lap down, fought his way back up and then a speeding penalty on pit road decided his fate in the outcome of this race.  It looked as if Truex was going to break through finally, but late race strategy gave the lead to Jimmie Johnson, and on old tires was able to hold off the field on several late cautions to take the win.  Harvick finished 2nd and Kyle Larson 3rd.  I had the high score this week, but was unable to shake James as he is still 2 points behind me.  Mark lost ground, but sits comfortably in 3rd place.
   In the half pool, everybody changed positions this week.  The top seven still have a chance to win this thing with five races to go in the first half.  Good luck to everyone this week in Pocono!
