Results From Loudon - 5-Hour Energy 301

Here we go, second half time!  After looking over the picks everyone took, it looked as if John had the strongest team, and oh boy, does it look strong after one race.   If he maintains this kind of strength, we up front are in for some company.
In the half pool, just getting under way and I am once again on top...(brag brag brag) John is once again in hot pursuit, followed by Janice and Debbie.
Good luck to all at Indy tomorrow.

Results From Our Draft

Here you have it, the results from our draft today.  Those that aren't too happy with they're picks are those of us that picked near the bottom, ie: Mark, myself and James.  Good luck to everyone in the second half!

Results From Kentucky - Quaker State 400

Wow!!! What a finish to the first half of the season in both pools.  The big pool halfway picking order is determined by what place you are in after this race, and it looks like Gary will be picking first, followed by Colleen, Brian, John, James, myself then Mark.   The big upset was Mark saying how he was only going to beat me at Kentucky by 29 points to remain behind me ensuring I was going to finish in first.  He did not anticipate my teams meltdown and his teams huge finish.
It looks as if it will only be Mark and I picking drivers for everyone since I haven't heard back from anyone else.  I knew John would not be there, so I have his draft pick order.
In the half pool, John and I discussed how he had the clear advantage with Junior and I had Newman.  Little did we think that both drivers would have issues and finish one spot behind each other.  My three point margin of victory is one of the closest finishes in the history of the half pool.  John did almost as good as me as he had his two pools finish in 2nd and 3rd.  Congrats to Debbie D, who plays for free again this coming half.
Good luck to all who play in the second half!

Results From Daytona - Coke Zero 400

Hey there boys and girls!  What a finish to an exciting race.  Too bad many of us missed it due to either sleeping or being at work (me).  Denny Hamlin spun out when he got jacked by Kevin Harvick coming to the checkered flag.  Austin Dillon was hit and launched airborne into the catch fence, destroying both car and catch fence.  Everybody was ok and Dale Earnhardt Jr claimed the victory.
In the big pool, James team suffered a meltdown and fell another position to third.  Mark took high score and moved into second only 30 points behind me.  Gary will be picking first next saturday, then Colleen and Brian.  After that, things can still change.
In the half pool, John and I will conclude our season long battle in Kentucky tonight.  It will come down to Ryan Newman and Dale Earnhardt Jr to settle this score.  3rd to 7th is still up for grabs for the final money spots.
Good luck to all in Kentucky!

Results From Sonoma - Toyota / Save Mart 350

Sorry guys, got a lot going on these days.  But without further ado, here are the standings from the road course race that I didn't even see one lap of.  What I can tell you is that Brian had a real good week, followed closely by Mark and myself.  James did not have a good week and lost the lead to me again.  Gary cannot seem to get his team together, and 632 points out seems to be a hole that ole "3 time" might not be able to get out of.  At least we know for sure who is picking first at the half (which is the 18th at 1:00 to remind everyone again).
In the half pool, Debbie and Janice making up lots of ground and are 3rd and 4th in the standings.  Blaster falls from third to sixth by picking Carl Edwards (don't know what happened there.
Hope you all were able to stay up nice and late last night for the Coke Zero 400 from Daytona.  Nice bit of fireworks at the end of that race.  Keep it here to see my results for that race in the next few days.
