First race in the chase for the cup 2013 is out of the way (after a very long rain delay) and Matt Kenseth, who was the number one seed, won in dominant style. Jimmie Johnson overcame pit road adversity to finish in fifth spot. Blown engines for Logano and Junior put a damper on their championship hopes early. Gary took a win with Kenseth, but Colleen had the consistent week and took the top spot this week. With nine races to go, looks like it will come down to Brian, Gary, James and Colleen, with John, Mark and myself looking on.
In the half pool, Colleen picked the winner, and Brian, Janice and Debbie, well.... just flat-lined. John looking to do what has only been done once before (take home the top two spots), as he now sits 1st and 5th. Debbie slips 4 spots down to 10th.
